Today I woke up early because my nephew and I had to take my brother’s dog, Bruno, to the vet, he has a tumor that has to be removed.  We got there, we went into a room, they checked how much he weighs, 74 pounds, we went back to the room at which point the vet gave him a shot and just like that he was out cold.

He is such a loyal, loving and tough dude that just seeing him out like that broke my heart. In the end we all know that the surgery is for his own good and sooner than soon that tough, loving and loyal dude will be back home and back to his old self again and that is the way we like it.

After thinking about it for a few I have decided to add a new category to my blog. Once in a while I write and have written about the technology in my life such as my G1, my blog editor, internet explorer 8, my laptop Sunshine so a technology category makes perfect sense if you ask me. So if you check the categories you will find a brand new one, I went through all my post and categorized the relevant ones accordingly, enjoy.

The Lakers won their 16th NBA championship yesterday, I watched the game even though I am not that much of a basketball fan anymore. After the game was over a bunch of idiots had to make the city and themselves look bad. They were rocking cars, breaking windows, throwing objects at police, a car was set on fire, a guy was beaten, people setting off fireworks and driving up and down city streets honking their horns, it was pretty embarrassing to say the least. I understand celebrating but there is a line that can’t be crossed and these idiots crossed it as soon as they broke their first window and all because of a basketball game. I guess their parents never taught then to respect other people’s property, way to go idiots!!.

Yesterday was one of those days when you start the day feeling real good and very optimistic and end up real bad and disappointing. I went to see the doctor so he would discharge so I could go back to work, he then sent me to the physical therapist and lo and behold I can do everything but bend forward or backwards completely. So the doctor gives me a note saying that I can go back to work but with some restrictions, no bending, stooping or lifting anything heavier than 10 pounds lest I break a nail.

The last time the doctor gave such restrictions I was put on leave without pay and sent home and I know that the same thing will happen again and to top it all off, as of June I won’t have insurance anymore. So it was quite a day, did a lot of thinking again wondering what to do next.

At about 8:30pm I went for a drive, I just needed to clear my head so I played every single sad song I could find on my iPod, to help with the mood you know. Drove around town and came back home at about 11:30 pm. I got out of the car to open the gate and my G1 hits the floor, I forgot it was on my lap when It usually is on the cup holder. So now I own a phone with five new scratches none of them on the screen. That was the only good news I received yesterday and I can’t wait to see what today will bring.

I have not posted in a while and the reason is that I have been lazy, a bit too lazy to be honest. I had so much to write about but never got to it and I can blame myself for that. I have been busy watching reality tv, this past Sunday the Amazing Race final took place and my team came in second, yeah. This Sunday the Survivor final if I am not mistaken, I am going with either Colby or Sandra to win it. The Apprentice will be trimmed down to the final two, I am going with Maria and Brett on this one. All that plus MW2 and it sure looks like my hands are going to be quite full. Don’t ask me why but for some strange reason I thought that today was Thursday. I woke up, turned on Sunshine and then I noticed that the date said Friday to my surprise. I could blame my medication but I am sure that nobody would fall for that so I’ll blame me, yes me. I have been staying up late, as usual, and waking up even later, as usual, and that is how I lost track of time. Anyway, have a great weekend and I will see you Monday morning bright and early.

Good afternoon from rainy, windy and supposed to be thundering L.A. but the day is still young and I am sure I will see some before the day is over. I didn’t work today since it’s a holiday, happy MLK day everybody. I was going to get up at 9am, my alarm went off but when I heard the rain and wind I decided to stay in bed ’til 12:30pm. The power went out a couple of times and sirens haven’t stopped since I woke up. The L.A. river, yes we have one, which is usually just a trickle most of the time has turned into a raging monster and from what I hear it’s going to be rainy all week and that is ok with me, I like rain.

I am back after a few days without blogging. The main reason I have not blogged recently has been my laziness, nothing new there, but at the same time I have been doing a lot of thinking. Anyway, I am going to make this one shorter than short but I will see you Monday morning bright and early as usual.

I can’t believe that I have to write a To Do list in order to actually do something. This is a first for me so why not NIKE and give it a try, who knows, if I end up doing everything on the list I may have to do it again.

• Call my lousy doctor, it has been more than a month since I was evaluated by the physical therapist and I have not heard a darn thing from him. Come on, all he had to do was send the paperwork to be approved but I guess that I am not the only one that needs a To Do list.
• Call the dentist and schedule an appointment, it has been more than a, I know, I know. It has been a while so I really, really have to do it. It’s either that or have no teeth, whichever comes first.
• Find a computer repair shop so I can take my Sunshine in, I know, I know, neglectful parent. Besides I do miss the good old days when I would watch tv and work at the same time while stretching on the couch, can’t beat that you know.

As you can see my list is very short so check back soon to see how good or bad I did. If my To Do list doesn’t make me do what I have to do then I am going to have to hire an excutive assistant to help me, how will I pay her is a whole different story because I am not made of money you know.
