I am back after the four day weekend and after not posting anything for a week. I was just not in a writing mood but have no fear because I am back.
I do have to say that I spent my four day weekend as follows, I played Modern Warfare 2 every night and went to bed late or was it early?, anyway. I slept all day and then rinsed and repeated except on Sunday. I woke up at about 4:30pm afternoon on Saturday and have been awake ever since, that is about 35 hours or so if I am right and if I am wrong please feel free to correct me. The time is 3:52 am here in Los Angeles so I am going to try to get some sleep as soon as I finish this post.
And that is how I spent my four day weekend, sad but true. I hope that yours was much better than mine.
The weekend was a very slow one for me. I actually went to sleep early on Saturday night and got plenty of sleep. One day out of two isn’t that bad considering that I always go to bed real late. I am still in pain and on Friday I started taking some new pills that to be honest just don’t seem to work.
I played MW2 Sunday afternoon after not playing for five days, hard to believe I know but true. I then watched MLS cup 2009, the game was pretty good and had to go into penalty kicks to decide the champ and just like I predicted, Real Salt Lake won, congrats to them.
I am waiting for the four day weekend coming up, right now looks like the weather will be real nice and that as you know, is the way I like it.

The weekend is finally here and come this Sunday I will be enjoying MLS Cup 2009 between the Los Angeles Galaxy 12-6-12 48 points and the Real Salt Lake 11-12-7 40 points. I congratulate both teams for reaching the finals this year.
The game will be played in Seattle at Quest Field and will be live on ESPN and Galavision, check your local listings. Prediction time again, even though the Galaxy has the stars and the best record I am going with the underdog and in doing so I predict that the Real Salt Lake will win their first MLS cup this Sunday.
This past Monday I stayed home, I called in sick and relaxed as best as I could. That was my third time calling in sick this month plus that time I left work early because I wasn’t feeling well. It’s a good thing that I have so much sick time available, I know some of my co-workers don’t even have an hour to their name and that is because they use it whenever they need a day off. I have said it before and I will say it again, if you need a day off use vacation time and leave that sick time alone because you never know when you are going to need it.
I am also going to change doctor, I don’t know if my current doctor doesn’t care or is right down incompetent but I am not getting any help on that front. It will be almost 2 months since I went to see the physical therapist for my evaluation and when I call to ask if the therapy has been approved all I get is the run around from the staff. Do I have to show up in a wheelchair for them to really take the fact that I am in pain seriously?, trust me, I am not going to wait to find out.
Life sucks when you are in pain but I am staying positive because when all is said and done I will be fine and back to full power.

I spent the weekend playing Modern Warfare 2 which the follow up to a game that I played for a long time named Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The game came out last Tuesday and I have been playing ever since and not even hunger, lack of sleep or pain could stop me.
I do have to say, I am having a bit of trouble getting kills in the game. I am attributing that to the fact that I am still learning the maps. I am not saying that I am horrible at it, I am just saying that I am very inconsistent. Some games are good and some are right down bad and I don’t like that. I want to be consistent from game to game and hopefully I will get there.
I am having a lot of fun.
Another Friday the 13th is here and I am shaking in my boots, ok I am not. To me this is just another day and hopefully there will be some scary movies to enjoy. So if a few black cats cross your path or if you see a line of ladders when you are walking down the street don’t worry about it, I personally don’t but that is just me.
I hope that you enjoyed the mini weekend we just had. I didn’t have to work this past Wednesday so I spent most of the day frustrated, read the next quick hit to find out why, and in pain but that is the way most of my days are now, the painful part being the constant as you know. I also didn’t get that much sleep, I am sure if you read the next quick hit you’ll find out why as well.
I got Modern Warfare 2 on Tuesday and I have to say that the graphics look great. I was very upset and frustrated early Wednesday, the servers were down so nobody could play online at all if you had a ps3. So after playing about 5 games the servers go down and I am waiting and waiting and waiting until finally I went to bed at about 10am. I also have a new pair of night vision goggles that I want to use while I drive at night, my brother and nephew don’t think that is such a good idea, in fact they have called it a stupid idea.
I forgot to post this past Monday as you know, I wrote the post but once again forgot to click the “publish” button. I’ll post it as soon as I can for you to read, it has some good stuff in it like all my posts do. Have a great weekend and I will see you Monday morning bright and early as usual and if I don’t forget to click on that “publish” button again.
Well, it finally happened, I called in sick yesterday and stayed home. In my almost four years of work I have only called in sick one time before, when I had a burger from a certain place and I got sick from it. That food poisoning knocked me out for two days and almost sent me to an early death. Take that death!!, you’ll have to get in line to get another shot at me.
I have always said that I wouldn’t call in sick unless I was really sick, dying or dead, this time I was really in pain, that qualifies as sick by the way, so I decided to take the day off. I don’t call in sick just because I need a day off, If I do need one I use vacation time thus saving my sick time of which I have 334 hours last I checked. I don’t know if I am going to work today or not but either way it’s fine with me.
The weekend was a big pain for me, ok, it wasn’t the weekend’s fault. That nagging pain just keeps on giving and this past weekend was the worst so far.
Let me explain my pain as best as I can, you are sitting down watching tv just minding your own business. Now, imagine that any movement whatsoever will cause you so much pain that you will just stop moving just to make the pain stop, that is what I am going through. Getting up is painful, walking is painful, sneezing is painful once again and now my neck is hurting and so is the left side of my back specially after work.
When you are in pain, your body will compensate, in my case I have developed a slight limp. As a result other muscles get strained and you end up with pain all over your body and that is what seems to be happening to me and I don’t like it one bit.
I need rest, lots of rest and I am trying to tough it out until Christmas break when I am going to get a 16 day weekend. With some therapy before the break I should be fine and I will be fine. I am sure not going to let a little pain beat me, it just ain’t going to happen, not now, not ever. Now, where is my medicine?, I forgot, I ran out.
